During the course of 2012, a series of international seminars were held in London, Stockholm, Munich and Copenhagen.
These seminars named Sound Education - brought to you by Ecophon, were exclusive events which explored and revealed some disturbing facts and exciting news about auditory environments in schools.
|København Sound Education Seminar 2012||München Sound Education Seminar 2012|
|Stockholm Sound Education Seminarium 2012||London Sound Education Seminar 2012|
The keynote speaker for all four events was four-time TED speaker Julian Treasure who was joined by a superb line-up of experts and influencers in the local countries to explore the relationship between sound and education. This has stimulated debate about a major issue which has until now been largely ignored. Dramatic results from the recently published Essex Study were also presented along with local teacher and student perspectives. The events were being filmed and are available online so you can still enjoy the resources created from these unique events.
